Article Processing Charge (APC)

Human Technology subscribes to the values and practices of Open Access publishing. Following successful peer review and acceptance, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 650 EURO plus VAT. It has to be paid after submitted paper is reviewed and accepted for publishing. This fee is essential to support various aspects of the publication process, including: peer review management, copyediting and typesetting, long-term archiving of articles, overall journal management and operations.

The APC ensures that high-quality research is freely accessible to readers worldwide while maintaining the journal's standards and sustainability.

Waivers for invited articles
Manuscripts formally invited by the Editor-in-Chief or Section Editor may be eligible for a full or partly waiver of the Article Processing Charge (APC). Eligibility is determined solely on the basis of a documented editorial invitation issued before submission.

An invitation and any APC waiver do not guarantee publication. All invited manuscripts are subject to the journal’s standard editorial assessment and peer-review process. Decisions on waiver eligibility and on acceptance for publication are made independently. The authors’ ability or inability to pay APCs does not influence editorial decisions.
